During my recent trip to Iran, I had a short stop in Toronto, where I was lucky to spend a few hours with my beautiful twin nieces. These adorable baby girls just turned 9 months old, and I couldn’t let the occasion pass without celebrating them with a delicious cake!
Since time was limited, I planned ahead. Before my flight, I baked the cake in Calgary, filled it with rich, creamy layers, and carefully wrapped it to survive an overnight flight to Toronto. The look on their faces (and my family’s excitement) made every effort worth it. That same night, after celebrating with my nieces and family, I resumed my journey back to Iran to visit my father.
